What is Dual Language?
Dual-language education, formerly called bilingual education, refers to academic programs that are taught in two languages.
Dual language programs, broadly defined, are educational programs in which students learn academic content in the partner language - such as Spanish, Mandarin, or Arabic - and in English. Two-way dual language programs are made up of English Language Learners, who are fluent in the partner language and English-speaking peers.
